Daraengi Village, where terraced rice paddies are a spectacular sight, is very steep. Heavy bags are a no-go, so check for storage spots near the village parking lot.
Inquire at the tourist information center for short-term storage or leave bags at your accommodation in advance. Bring only a light backpack.
